OUR FOUNDER
Founded by restaurateur Lavanya Mahate who also started Saffron Valley Indian Restaurants, Biscotts Bakeries and the Rise Culinary Institute, Bix Bakery & Café is a neighborhood café that celebrates life’s simple moments and builds community through coffee and conversations.
The pastries and cakes are influenced by the European style of baking, using less sugar and light whipped cream frosting. Chai is brewed fresh every morning using fresh ginger and spices, making it the most authentic chai in town.
